  Four Seasons:

Take on positions in the Four Seasons Food Production Program, providing a great year of fun and challenging food production, products dicated by season. .

Participants travel to McLaren Vale for one day of challenging "hands on" food production every three months.

All foods produced are packaged and returned to participants for private consumption.

 
     
         
         
         
  Spring:  

Your group rises early, and heads to a local dairy to collect their milk fresh by hand. After a warming breakfast, they spend the day making Brie, Fetta and Ricotta from the milk. All transport and a full breakfast and lunch is provided.

A 2 kg wheel of Brie and a 2kg tub of Fetta is returned to your group after 6 weeks.

         
         
         
  Summer:  

Your group heads out to the McLaren Vale and hand harvests a quarter acre of good quality Shiraz. The harvest are taken to the Redheads winery and the wine pressed from the berries. All transport and a full lunch is provided.

Fifty (50) dozen bottles of wine is produced for your group and returned for consumption after 12 months.

         
         
         
  Autumn:  

Your group hand harvests a quarter tonne of Kalamata olives. After sorting for table olives, the rest is pressed for oil. All transport and a full lunch is provided.

Fifty (50) x 750ml bottles of quality Olive Oil and fifty (50) x 350g jars of Table Olives are produced and returned to your group of private consumption.

         
         
         
  Winter:  

Your group spends the day with a commercial brewer making beer. All transport and a full lunch is provided.

One hundred dozen bottles (fifty cases) of beer is produced and returned to your group for private consumption.

         
         
         
  Venue:   
Various venues across McLaren Vale, SA
         
  Period:   Generally 9am to 5pm, although early start option exists with Cheesemaking.
           
  Cost:   $1450/head (min.12, max 20)
     

The day includes transport to/from CBD, as well as morning and afternoon tea and appropriate meals.

     
  When:   New groups can begin any time, starting their 12 month program with the appropriate seasonal event.
